Ingredients:

  1. 60 ml Burnt Fig Gin
  2. 30 ml Fresh lime juice
  3. 15 ml Raw dark sugar simple syrup (adjust to taste)
  4. 30 ml Blue Agave Tequila
  5. 30 ml Vermouth
  6. Ginger Beer (to top off the cocktail)
  7. Ice Cubes
  8. Lemon twist, fig slice or candied ginger for garnish

Raw Dark Sugar Simple Syrup:
To make the raw dark sugar simple syrup, combine equal parts raw dark sugar (such as muscovado or demerara) and water in a saucepan. Heat over low heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and let it cool before using.

Instructions:

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the Saintlier Burnt Fig Gin, fresh lime juice, raw dark sugar simple syrup, Blue Agave Tequila and sweet vermouth.
  2. Add ice cubes to the shaker and shake vigorously until well chilled.
  3. Strain the mixture into a chilled highball, coupe or martini glass.
  4. Top off the cocktail with ginger beer for a delightful effervescence.
  5. Garnish with a twist of lemon, a thin slice of fresh fig or candied ginger.
  6. Sip and enjoy the harmonious blend of fig, citrus, ginger, tequila, sweet vermouth and the depth of raw dark sugar

Ingredients:

  1. 30 ml mixed berry gin (use your preferred brand)
  2. 30 ml fresh lemon juice
  3. 15 ml strawberry simple syrup (recipe below)
  4. 1 dash of plum bitters
  5. 30 ml aquafaba (vegan option) or 1 egg white
  6. Ice
  7. Garnish: Edible flowers, mint, or a lemon twist

Strawberry Simple Syrup Recipe:

  1. In a saucepan, combine 1 cup of water, 1 cup of sugar, and 1 cup of fresh strawberries (sliced).
  2. Bring to a simmer, stirring until the sugar dissolves.
  3. Remove from heat and let it cool. Strain out the strawberry solids.

Instructions:

  1. Add the ingredients: In a cocktail shaker, combine the mixed berry gin, lemon juice, strawberry simple syrup, plum bitters and aquafaba (or egg white).
  2. Shake it up: Fill the shaker with ice and shake vigorously for about 30 seconds.
  3. Double strain: Strain the cocktail into a glass, discarding the ice.
  4. Shake again: Return the cocktail to the shaker and give it another good shake.
  5. Serve: Strain the frothy cocktail into a chilled cocktail glass. You might need to scoop out some of the foam with a spoon.
  6. Garnish: Add edible flowers, mint, or a lemon twist for an elegant touch.
